Some of us ladies try to make sure we place our ads where we can for maximum exposure. But eccie lately has taken the cake on making it difficult to deal with their site.

Last week they implemented pop ups for Eros and another site, because they want the "per click" revenue. However folks are getting annoyed with the pop ups going through their pop up blocker settings and getting pop ups every time they click particular forum links. Yet a couple of mods are denying they have any control over it. Total BS. Are they trying to run people off their site? Participation is going way down over there on their boards. There is only a small select group that post non stop daily over there.

Anyway, I guess I should just stay off that damn board and only place my ads up weekly now.

Shakes head..:frustrated:

There aren't too many things on the Internet worse than the dreaded pop-up ads. Unless those popups are centered around the escorts, because it is an escort website, then popups are usually going to do more harm than good.

The fact that half the links on ECCIE seem to be affiliates and/or off-site links is annoying to someone like myself who likes a little more targeted structure(I hate clutter) and less visual bombardment. I could possibly tolerate that little detail; however, the popups thrown into the mix would definitely keep me from going there.
